NFL - Vikings v Packers
9 November 2008
Asian Handicap Line :

A great game here in the NFC North, and a game that seems to feel like an early playoff contest. The loser of this game is on a much tougher road to make the playoffs, and both teams will be at 100% max effort today for this one.
Both defenses have some holes in their units, but are certainly capable of shutting each other down. This will likely be a great battle between two hard-nosed clubs that are trying to keep pace in the division. Both clubs have their backs against the wall and the loser will be on the outside looking in at a stretch run that may be tough to bounce back from. I think this is another game that will be coming down to the last few minutes of the game, but the Packers should squeak it out. They won't just cover, but they'll probably win. However, you guys know me, and I generally take the points just to be safe.
But I do recommend taking the Packers to win if you like the odds at 2.20 much better. The chances are, if the Packers cover, they will win, but these teams have a history of wierd things happening and FGs meaning a lot. It wouldn't surprise me to see a 24-23 game or something like that. I'll just play it safe and take the points and bet it big.
