ATP - Andy Roddick v Tsonga
31 October 2008

I decided to take this bet also in spite of gossip that Tsonga is injured. Well, yes he took medical time-out in 3'rd set against Djokovic but still we watch tennis in times where injuries, times-out and medical stuff become a part of players strategy and it is hard to say is player is really suffering or he only want to grab some time and knock his opponent from good rhythm. So if Tsonga will play healthy I put him in favour of this match, he is more interesting player for me that can produce a lot better tennis. Both poses strong serves, I expect at least one tie-break in this match. The main thing is that Tsonga sometimes look really unstable, he is having too much fun on court or suddenly he moves really clumsy on it. It such thing will happen twice result will be in under way and ARod should not give back his games when he get an advantage. Andy for last weeks is serving really great, he already have Shanghai qualification but I think he want to check himself before Masters Cup and won't give this match easily. Tsonga if he will reach final will keep his dream of Masters Cup, so his motivation is far away higher but still Roddick serve is a hard nut to bite. Tsonga besides of 2'nd set against Djokovic where he was just standing in field and do nothing really impressed me, nice shots, magical as always and quite good serve, still he faced many breaks, but if technician Njole wasn't able to converse them, maybe Roddick will not be able to do so too. Roddick seems more stable and two tiebreaks wins won't surprise me, but I feel in my bones that French magician will took hard three setter victory and of course our over will be covered. Good Luck!
