Twenty20 - Middlesex v Stanford Series

I must say although my record hasnt been great in this Stanford Twenty20, Ive been a little unlucky, I called that some of the 'Superstars' players wouldnt play all matches and therefore weren't worth backing in the outrights, So although my 'outright' picks flopped i think i still got the value in what is a really tricky market to call. In a couple of my match picks i managed to find a batsman at 67.0 who opened the batting and a 17.0 shot who batted at 3, Ok both lost but still the value was there and on a different day who knows.....

Middlesex play the 'Stanford Superstars' tonight in what is Middlesex's final match and the S.S's 2nd match. It is a nothing match really Middlesex have had there 'Cash' game and the superstars have theres on Saturday. Middlesex have made changes ahead of this match, Godleman and Richardson should get there 1st match, while Carter, Kartik and Nash have been left out.

Billy Godleman can feel a little hard done by to have not played so far, Godleman opened the batting in the English Twenty20 final, Semi Final and Quarter Final and in all played in 11 of Middlesexs 13 matches in the summer. The inclusion of Carter cost him his place, Carter 'Pinch hitting' didnt pay off and having been left out tonight the obvious replacement is young Billy Godleman, Godleman should open and at 8.0 to top bat could well be worth a tickle.
