ACB - Gran Canaria v CAI Zaragoza

I think CAI Zaragoza is a bit overvalued after their excellent games in the super cup and also in the match versus Pamesa. I should say that they are doing even better than I have rated them, but It s also true that we only could watch them playing at home. I have the feeling than Zaragoza will be quite different playing at home with stadium full and supporting 1 hour before game start and away in hard courts like Canarias.

Canarias isn’t as strong as last season, mainly because they lost some quality in the bench. But I still rate them minimum in the same level as Zaragoza or even a bit better. Everybody knows how difficult is to play in Canarias. There are also players that I cant really rate because I couldn’t watch them on TV but I have read how they did in the pre season, so I can try to guess a first idea about their level.

I m also quite surprised to see in this match this line. Seems bookies don’t remember which is Canarias style, especially when they play at home. Zaragoza could score many points in last games, mainly because they so hot in 3 pts line, because I don’t think they have many sources to score and less against Canarias strong defence. Everybody who could watch a game from Canarias at home should understand their style doing a quite rude defence and trying to run the court doing easy baskets. But also when they have to play 5 to 5, they love to control the ball and do long played. In my opinion this line is a too high and sounds like a must bet to me.
