Johnstone's Paint - Luton v Brentford

Although not a competition i usually get too involved in i cant help but fancy a decent sided punt on Brentford away at Luton in the 'Paint' Cup.

I like Brentford this season, they look a well balanced hard working side with a defence that gives very little away. In 9 league games they have lost just the once (opening day of the season) and conceded just 3 goals in total. Rumour has it a couple of changes will be made ahead of this match but i expect most sides tonight will shuffle there packs a bit anyway.

I cant help but think Luton will think they have bigger fish to fry than worry about progressing in the Cup, They are slowly eating away at the -30 they started the league Campaign with but as we approach the 10th game of the season they still find themselves 19 points adrift of the 3rd from bottom side. Team news never easy to find ahead of these matches but ive read somewhere that a host of 1st team players are either carrying knocks or are very doubtful for this match, Surely if this is the case Mick Harford wont risk them long term for a run in this cup, afterall avoiding relegation is Luton only true objective this season.

At a bit over 3.0 Brentford look well worth a tickle tonight in a game that might mean slightly more to them than the 'Hatters'
