Erste Bank - EHL - EC Pasut VSV v Olimpija Ljubljana

Derby of the bottom in EBEL league. After seven rounds Olimpija is last placed team with only three points, while Villach is just above them with six points. Slovenian team is totally out of form and they claimed only points in their derby match against other Slovenian team - Jesenice. Their main problem this season is how to score as they've scored only nine goals, which is 1,29 average per match. And there are no excuses for that, they had big majority of their games at home, and they still failed to score four games so far. I think it's some kind of negative record. Except their bright performance against Jesenice, they showed nothing, and as a result of that their coach Mike Posma got fired/left the club (there are still no clear information on that one). So, Olimpija is without coach today, and until new coach arrives (probably for next match with Jesenice), team will be lead by assistant coach.

Villach isn't brilliant either. They entered season with three losses in four games, winning away at Graz in OT. Since then, they've improved picking four points in last three games, beating Innsbruck and KAC at home, while losing away at Vienna against Caps. Their performances improved, and although KAC maybe deserved more from local derby, they totally deserved win over Innsbruck, and should have taken at least a point, if not whole two against Vienna. In contrast to Olimpija, they don't have problems with scoring, they've scored two or more in six of seven games, and they don't conceded much either, only two teams conceded less goals.

Villach home advantage and better form should be enough to see home win here, Olimpija is still in problems, they just can't score goals and are without a coach in this match. I can't se "positive effect" of changing coach while new coach still isn't in club and think that Villach will use this situation and win here. Probable score 3:1 or 4:1
