Ligue 2 - Guingamp v Clermont

Guingamp are still in the last place in the league, but this should change as time goes by. They started season really awful, losing the first four games and scored only once. However they improved since then and drew the last four games in a row. They scored in 3 out of the last 4 league games, but also trashed St. Ettiene in a cup game which ended by 4:1. Now that scoring shouldn`t be a problem it is time for a first win of the season.

Clermont are doing better than Guingamp with 9 points from 8 games, but they are still far from being a good team and they are clearly worse than in previous season. They gathered almost all points at home, but took only 1 away from home.In three away games they scored 4 times but conceded no less then nine times. Their main problem is defence as together with Reims they hold a record with most conceded goals (15) in the league. Last time they played away they were trashed by Ajaccio (5:1),while also conceded twice against Strasbourg on monday at home.

Hosts did well against Clermont in the past and their motivation to secure the first three points should be sky high. They also had a few more days to prepare to this game.IMO we will see goals on both sides and I will also try with over 2,5 goals cause I see something like 2-1 or 3-1 in the end for the hosts!
