Super League - Larisa AEL v OFI Crete
4 October 2008

Rooney (England)
Asian Handicap Line -1 : +1
Larisa won 1-3 on their last game away to Panseraikos while OFI drew home with champions Olympiakos. OFI has already passed successfully the test at Panionios and Iraklis which are very hard venues to go and pick points there. However the Cretans seem this year to leave aside the jet lag which has been haunting them in all of their away games. Larisa of course is experienced and will have their supporters on their side but I am not convinced Ouzounidis will drive them forward. I think they will just manage to save themselves from relegation, no uefa cup this year.
I might be mistaken but with Aris, Panionios and of course PAOK being strong I can't see Larisa competing like they used to be with charismatic Donis as head-coach. OFI has a good goalkeeper plus they will always be threatening at front as Dame can score a goal out of nothing. Hmm -3/4 on home..I would say -0.5 should be a better approach..Then maybe -1/4 will do as well...The +1 is unacceptable..Safe bet as far as I am concerned..And as sure as you can be in football about a 'safe' bet..But still I believe OFI will score so why not take this bet? Don't forget that Larisa fans are demanding and they will expect to see their team attacking and scoring many goals, this fact will leave them vulnerable in the back. Odds are not exactly fantastic, if OFI was offered above 1.95 I will go 10/10..Good luck to everyone with your choices!
