SM - Liiga - JYP v Assat

Interesting situation we have here. Two teams that have met just three days ago. JYP won in away match with 7:1. Their win was expected, but not that high, anyway, Assat had to stop playing over their possibilities and this was painful sobering for them. JYP is one of the strongest teams in league and they need to win in series, especially good they need to be in home games and so far they managed it. Assat will be their fourth home game, they’ve won all three till date, Tappara 3:2, Lukko 4:2 and Lahti 4:1 and currently they are only two points behind leaders Blues Espoo, but with a game in hand. Today, nothing will be changed from their last match, Samuli Piiroinen, Tuomas Vänttinen and Kalle Koskinen are injured, Tuppurainen and Lahti as well.

Assat so far had some surprising results, but look who they faced, HIFK, Lahti and TPS, three of the last four teams. They were ready to lose somewhere and it came against JYP. Three days later, I don’t see picture changing. Assat is just too weak for JYP, especially in away match, and JYP will look to extend their winning streak. I don’t give high chances for Assat disrupting their good serie, JYP is just too strong
