Eredivisie - AZ Alkmaar v Sparta Rotterdam

Friday's Eredivsie game between AZ Alkmaar and Sparta Rotterdam.

Alkmaar played an outstanding game last week away at Willem II winning 5-2. At half time the score was 5-1! They created so many chances, and the converted them aswell. It looks like AZ learned from it's mistakes earlier in the season, and they showed that last week. The team is full of convidence and they scored 7 goals in their last 2 games! in those last two games the half time score was 1-0 and 5-1. That is why I like to have a bet on them to lead at half time. The odds on 90 minutes are almost the halve of the 45 minutes odds: 1.86-1.45. I take the higher odds and the more risky pick here as I think that Alkmaar will start the game very strong and open the score in the first half, as I don't think Sparta will equalize this looks like a good bet to me.

Sparta are 15th in the league, they have 2 ponts out of 4 games. Sparta scored 1 goal in their 2 away games this season, and they conceded 2. Last week Sparta played an away game against champions PSV Eindhoven, and only lost with 1 goal, but the result could have been much higher, Sparta only had a couple of chances and they had very little possition. Today they will get a similair game, a home side that will dictate the game, and Sparta to play their counter attack.

I expect Alkmaar to repeat their preformance from last week against Willem II, and will score a goal in the first half, remember last week they scored 5 in the first 45 minutes. Sparta looks weak this season, they will be happy to come away with a point today, but I dont think they come away with a point as Alkmaar probably will decide it within the first 45 minutes. 7 stakes for this bet as Alkmaar really impressed me last week.
