Champions League - Sporting Lisbon v Basel

Basel is one of those teams that are according to quality among the lowest placed teams. They are maybe a good UEFA team, but in the Champions League, every point that they get will be a success for them. Before their first match against Shakhtar I had the same feeling but I was too sceptic about Shakhtar’s for to take the away win and I just too away win with DNB, but now the things are different. Sporting is playing at home and have pretty good team, team that played well against Barcelona at Nou Camp and today they are will play at home where are almost always favorites.

Sporting has small troubles with their line up. Caneira and Izmailov are under big question mark for appearance for this match and Vukcevic is definitely out for clash against Basel.

Last season these two teams played against each other in the UEFA Cup and Sporting advanced with 5:0 on aggregate, winning 2:0 in Lisbon and 0:3 in Basel. I have feeling that clean sheet victory will occur again for the Portuguese team.
