Kontinental League - Khimik Voskresensk v Atlant Mytishchi

This two teams have had same name for few years, both were Khimik. As Voskresensk team got into lower league, Vischaya, Mytischy one took all the results of previous (only one) Khimik team. Now, as Mytischy team changed their name to Atlant, Khimik Voskresensk got their results back. However, it won’t help them in this clash, Atlant is currently the best team in league, while Khimik is the worst one. They just weren’t prepared to enter KHL this season as it was Avtomobilist who should perform on this level. It costed them as they weren’t prepared and now they are paying the price. Team is weak, goalie Aleksei Egorov is among four worst goalies by GAA, also his SVS percentage of 89,2% is one of the worst. In contrary to this statistics, team hasn’t conceded much, only 30 goals which is really good, but they are lowest scoring team in league and there we can search reasons for their position. But, it was all expected even before the season started.

Atlant wasn't expected to top the table, but their current form is undoubtly the best in league. Their players Sergey Mozyakin and Magnus Johansson were voted for best defender and best forward in September. Both goalies, Ray Emery and Vitaly Kolesnik are in Top5 goalies statistics by GAA and SVS. Team failed to win in regular time only twice, in opening match away to Spartak, and away to Dinamo Riga. Khimik is nowhere near the quality of above two and Atlant should be able to win them easy, only if they play motivated. And they probably will, knowing the history between this two clubs, and Atlant will certainly want to keep the pace now, while they don't have injury problems and while other big teams are still unconsistent.

I think there is just too big gap between this two teams. No matter Khimik's home advantage, Atlant is better in every line and they should prove it on ice. This is one of their shortest away trips, they won't be tired and should win here easily. Another thing that makes me play this is price. 1.63 is way too much, my estimation of odds is 1.50, so even if you don't get this Expekt offer you can still bet on great odds...
