Champions League - Sporting Lisbon v Basel

I'm not sure how Basel got here but one thing is clear: they're the worst team in group. The 1-2 loss in their home match against Shaktar may look on the line but in fact the Ukraineans could have won by a bigger difference. The Swiss side were completely outplayed and as they've never been great on the road I can only tip another defeat for them.

Sporting have got some sort of edge in this clash as they've already beaten twice Basel last season in UEFA Cup (2 convincing victories btw). They've lost to Barcelona 3-1 but from what I've seen they were slightly unlucky to lose by two goals and have actually played well. Sporting ar known for their home power. They beat much better teams in the recent past in Portugal, and Basel should be an easy mark for them. If they can't beat Basel they can't beat anyone, no place for mistake in this one.
