Erste Bank - EHL - EC - KAC v Alba Volan

Here we have specific situation... Alba were total outsiders before the season start, but seems like their Finnish additions along with some Hungarian star players were good move, as Alba is currently topping the table along with Innsbruck. They have four wins from four games, keeping 100% record. What is interesting is that all their wins were with the same result, 3:2. So, all games were on the brink of over, and against KAC i think they will finally have some different result (and most likely lose). Their goalie Szuper is currently their best player, 2nd best goalie in league with 94,29% SVS, but they are also most efficient, not by goals scored, but by shots/goals ratio - 13,33%. They can't maintain their winning streak forever, and this will be one of their biggest tests...

KAC was expected to mount a serious challenge against Salzburg and VSV, but after two opening wins, they've lost twice. As it were all away games it isn't really a bad result, especially as they've lost to Salzburg and Jesenice. In all their games there were a lot of goals, at least six. IMO they have one of the worst goalies in league, they've conceded 14 goals which is one of the worst records, and they've played teams like Vienna and Graz, teams that aren't the very top. But, in contrast, their attack is extremely efficient, 14 goals scored, and they usually don't have more then 30 shots per match.

This will be their first home game, opening for this season should attract crowd and KAC should have big motivation. They will concede for sure, probably more then once, so they will need to score at least three to win here, looking at their efficiency so far, against Alba they will be able to score, especially as Alba takes most 2 min penalties in league. Although they have also good PK, Szuper can't save them always. It's time for high scoring game by Alba, they are now able to score against anyone (turning 1:2 to 3:2 against Salzburg in last few minutes of match proved it). KAC isn't good in defensive department and they will need to amend it with attacking. I expect at least 4:2 result which would get us our money back, but 4:3 or any other high scoring result is highly possible...
