Champions League - Arsenal v FC Porto

Well i can see people being put off from this handicap as a result of the Gunners display against Hull but im not going to be put off.

The line is only 1 so if the Gunners win we will at least secure a push. Now as i had said, the Gunners lost at the Emirates at the weekend to a resiliant Hull side. But, Hull needed some luck and also a wonder goal from Geovanni to get back into the game. So im not going to read to much into that game apart from perhaps Gunners might find it difficult against sides who strong and disciplined defensivly. I dont consider Porto to be either of these. Wenger has promissed changes from the side that lost to Hull. I can see Nasri returning after his injury. Ramsey is also an option. Fabregas will always provide the quality in the middle and has the ability to create the chances required for Adebayor and Van Persie. The Full-backs will get forward aswell to provide the extra width required.

Porto have started on Match Day one with a good 3-1 home in over Fenerbache and have fully deserved that win. But this was a Fenerbache side missing key players through injury and also one that had an inability to defend. Whilst im not saying the Gunners are defensivly stable they will be better than Fenerbache. The style of play for Porto aswell should allow the Gunners some chances and i think they will take this game as a result.
