Super Lig - Galatasaray v Konyaspor

It is so exciting to watch Galatasaray this season.

They opened the season with Turkish Super cup in the final game which was held in Germany against Kayseri. They finished the first half 0-0 and played very bad. In the break Skipbe gave a cold shower to the players and it worked as the players chilled out and managed to beat their rival 2-1. I can not forget Harry Kewell’s header the first goal as soon as he entered the game. What a start for a new transfer, isn’t it shocking?

Their second game was at home against Steaua Bucuresti (CHL qualification first leg) they were shocked as they made 2 disaster mistakes and conceded 2 goals just in the beginning of the game but they made a great come back in second half and they could even be the winner that night. That game finished 2-2.

Their third match this season was again at home against Denizli. They beat the visitors but that was a difficult game and most of the goals came in the last 15 minutes. Then after opening Super League they flew to Romania for the second leg hoping to beat Romanian team Steaua and qualify to Champions League but it did not work as they lost 1-0 by the shot of Nicolita in 57th minute. This result took them to the UEFA cup competition.

Galatasaray, after coming back from Romania they again went to an away match which also was another hard one Kayseri. That was going to be their fist and only (so far) goalless game as it ended 0-0. The most interesting thing was watching Milan Boros first time (the new transfer of Galatasaray). He entered in 60ties but could not change the destiny of the game.

Then they played against Antalya and again could not bring a win as it ended 1-1. But I want to mention something for that match as I watched it 2 times and got almost crazy as Omer the awesome goal keeper of Antalya provided a fantastic performance and made all Galatasaray fans upset. Overall in that match I saw a very dangerous team is being developed and soon will begin its winning series.

Galatasaray flew to Switzerland for the first leg of UEFA cup against Bellizona and again shocked me as they conceded the first goal. But in 39th Harry Kewell equalized and first half finished 1-1. The second half begun with a shot of home team and they leaded the game for 4 minutes as Milan Baros the new striker of Galatasaray made his first record and managed to make it 2-2. In the 60th home team got a red card and Galatasaray this time leaded by again Milan Baros in 80th but interestingly home team with 10 men scored their 3rd goal and we all thought Galatasaray will draw but lucky Lincoln in 94th managed a lucky shot which hit the defender and then to the net.

Last week Galatasaray went away to Kocaeli to play against Kocaelispor and we all knew it was going to be a very hard game. Kocaeli scored the first goal and in that weather conditions we thought Galatasaray can not bring the game back but we realized something in the end of game that Galatasaray is the strongest team of Turkish Super League and the most expensive one as they finished 1-4 against their rival Kocaeli.

Tonight Harry Keweell, Milan Baros, Lincoln and other high qualities will beat Konya easily and we will enjoy watching at least 3 goals in the whole game. I also believe Konya may resist as because I heard from the media that they want to make a miracle. But let’s be feasible and let’s collect some funds to our Bank account in this easy predicting match.
