Veikkausliiga - Jaro v KooTeePee

Another match i like in Veikkausliiga is the one between Jaro and KooTeePee. Both teams seem to be playing for nothing at this point, which favors an open game with some goals.

Jaro are one of the hot teams at this moment, along with Inter and Honka. Last round, i strongly believed they would get a strong result at HJK, but i wanted to be safe and played the +1.5 @ 1.8, an excellent odd, and they went to win 3-2 away. The victory odds were around 9 or 10 but i feared taking them. Still, it proved my point about their form and it looks to continue today against relegated KooTeePee.

Jaro, as i said, are hot at the moment, with 4-1-1 and a 13-10 GD in their last 6 games. Their last 9 games have gone over the 2.5 line as regards goals, and i believe tonight KTP will concede at least 2 from them. The visitors will be going to Ykkonen after a long time spend in the top division. They only have 8 points from 22 matches, and away they are 0-29 with an 8-29 GD. 4 defeats in a row is their current form, inclduing 1-3 and 0-4 defeats at home against Mypa and Tampere and 0-3 and 1-2 defeats away at Inter and Honka. Their disappointing season is over and they will play these last 4 matches with no expectations, as it is hard to beleive they can get 4 wins and KuPS no points.

Normally i should be backing Jaro again at winning with a handicap. All points that way, including a 6-4 win in the cup and a 4-1 win in Kotka. But, since there is no motivation on any of the teams, i would like to go for goals in this one, as i believe 3-1 is not an unlikely result, while it covers that 2-1 also, which would ruin a handicap bet. With Jaro playing so open football lately, and with KTP having nothing to lose anymore, i can see a nice match here and a good opportunity for over 2.5. Medium stakes though as there is no motivation. Good luck.
