Premiership - Portsmouth v Tottenham
Spurs are last in the standings with 2 points gathered so far, whereas 1 point was actually lucky (against Chelsea - a match they should have lost by all means!!) and 1 point was gathered against Wigan last week. If Spurs were having big problems at the back last season, nowadays they not only lack a good defence but also struggle up front big time. They don't create so much anymore, and away their defence looks shaky enough to let Pompey do their job. They got thrashed in the worst possible manner by Boro in the opening round (2-1 was a bit too soft) and managed to grab a point at Stamford Bridge like I said, but it's been a very lucky point. The Blues had missed several chances to double their lead, hit the crossbar, but Spurs managed to make it even somehow on a very lucky deflected ball. Sunderland and Villa commanded respect in front of Spurs fans, it is a reason for Ramos to consider what is good and what is wrong with his team.
Pompey were ashamed in Manchester last week as they've lost to City 6-0 and got completely outplayed, but at home they looked decent so far and I think they can easily take advantage of Spurs' lack of form.
I remember last season when these two sides have met and I was on Spurs level that time, and they did the job for me, but the chances are they rather won't repeat the perfomance and likely end up defeated today.
