Ligue 1 - Sochaux v Lorient

Sochaux is welcoming Lorient in an already critical fixture at the stade Bonal, as both teams started in horrible fashion.

Guests are actually playing terrible, far from their standard of last season when its good start helped create a nice atmosphere and made them cruise to a nice standing in the league. In my book, Lorient is set to a difficult season and I have the feeling that the way they are going, its going to be difficult for them. The team lack confidence, especially their strikers Saifi and Gameiro who keep on missing sitters, but moreover, their style is getting very predictable, and the last defeat at home to lens in the league cup (0-3) has showed many weaknesses both defensivey and mentally. Important players such as Namouchi, Le Pen and Vahirua are still missing.

Sochaux is getting a bit better and try to wake up from their previous performances. They are still far from being a reliable force at home, but after they defeated Marseille during the week, I'm sure that confidence is near its top. Hosts have their back against the wall, still winless after 6 games and know that if they can't beat poor travelers such as Lorient then they won't beat many teams. Quality wise I tend to trust them more, especially with Erding up front and Dalmat at the playmaking.

All in all, even if Lorient generally likes to play in Sochaux, i believe its high time for the hosts to collect their first 3 points of the season. Odds started dropping already, and I suggest to take whatever can be found above @2
