Premiership - Stoke City v Chelsea

If you take Chelsea's away form into account this season, you will be lumping on them to score a hatful of goals this afternoon. 4-0 away to portsmouth last weekend, and 3-1 away to Man City. If you take into account our 4-0 demolition against Bordeux as well ( 4-0 ), you will fancy a good job against a Stoke team that has conceded plenty this season so far and had a long hard game midweek against Reading.

Chelsea will look a little thin on the ground today as there is no Riccy, no Joe Cole, No Essien and no Deco. So that will probably mean the midfield will consist of Lampard, Mikel, Ballack, Malouda and Beletti with Drogba on his own up front. Don't forget that it's champions league next week, and we are playing in Romania, so Joe Cole being rested is probably just a precaution to get over a knock. Big Phil has played Beletti a few times this season in midfield and he has scored from this wide right position.

He is a huge price to be an anytime scorer today and I will be betting him. Another one I will be betting at too big odds is Malouda. Big Phil has played him alot this season, and the frenchman has started to show why he was so covetted by many top european clubs before we finally landed him last year. He has scored twice so far this term, and his position on the left, coming in and supporting Drogba will mean that he is bound to get a few shots off today and Hills 6.0 is big compared to Totesport's 3.5.

I'd like to see another 4-0, but to be honest I will take 3 points however we get them. Stoke is never an easy place to go, or an easy team to play ( just ask Liverpool and Villa ), however this will be like men playing against boys, and I fear for Stoke, that they will be fighting relegation as their lightweight squad toils for a long hard season.
