Eredivisie - Heerenveen SC v NEC Nijmegen

Eredivisie game between SC Heerenveen and NEC Nijmegen.

Heerenveen are a team that are very strong when playing at home, thats the reason why there is a big difirence in the odds today 1.90-4.12. But would this game be played in Nijmegen, the odds should be like this in favour of Nijmegen. The reason in Heerenveen are very poor recently, and Nijmegen are playing even stronger than last season! Earlier this year on February 2 Nijmegen won the game 3-2 away at Heerenveen, that was the last meeting between these two teams. Last week Heerenveen played at home against low ranked Almelo, going up quickly 2-0 in the 1st half, and then missing a lot of good chances and let Almelo get back into the game and on the end almost giving it away completely! A game to forget for Heerenveen, but today they will be playing a much better team than Almelo, so I expect them to struggle.

Nijmegen played some great football in the first two games this season in the Eredivisie, winning their first game at home 2-0 against De Graafschap, and the next round a draw away at FC Twente. Midweek Nijmegen played for the UEFA Cup at home against Dinamo Bucaresti and winning 1-0! They played some good football, and will probably repeat it today. Heerenveen played an away game in the UEFA Cup against Victoria Setubal 1-1.

I like the way Nijmegen are playing, now that I like the odds on them, even now it´s away against Heerenveen I´m going for it. A team that is struggling, against a team in form, Heerenveen didn´t impress me last week at home against Almelo, neither will they today. If you wan´t to go for less risk, take the +0,5 or DNB on Nijmegen. Good luck!
