Super League - AEK Athens v Iraklis Thessaloniki

AEK will be playing only for the 3 points on this one, trying to keep up with their good start. Iraklis didn't manage to get the desired wins, failed to do so twice while playing home. Last year Iraklis won 0-1 and demolished AEK's hopes for the Championship.

Iraklis still have some problems with Marquez but he apologized and he is likely to feature while Katsabis (injured nose) and Martos won't be 100% ready but they will both play. Donis has a full squad to choose from, as Djebour, Pelletieri & Hetmaij all wait for the chance to come in and show some of their ability. This kind of competition within the team is likely to 'cause some confusion between those who don't play. On the other hand it is also beneficial for AEK as 'those who have the best performance, those will play' seems more fair to the players.

It is true that AEK -has- not yet managed to score more than 2 up to this point, in the Greek Championship and at the Uefa Cup qualifiers where they failed miserably. I doubt it they will do it now. The only way to see this under going down the drain is if Iraklis manages to score. This can ruin the under but I am prepared to take this risk in very attractive odds for such an event. Neither of the teams is into full form yet and I will be amazed if this turns into a goal-feast. Possible scores 1-0, 2-0
