Champions League - Manchester United v Villareal

Manchester United is entering this opening Champions League match with not so bright season so far for them. In the last round of their domestic championship, Ferguson suffered his first defeat from Benitez and the loss from Liverpool, Manchester United’s biggest rival hurts the most. But, Ferguson is optimistic in front of this match and believes that the draw against Villarreal in previous occasion when they came at Old Trafford will be forgotten by this win. Good thing for Ferguson is that he has no longer big injury list and that on that list is only Carrick. The return of Cristiano Ronaldo makes all Man United skeptics, more optimistic about the following part of the season. Also Hargreaves is fit once again and despite Ronaldo’s start from the bench, Ferguson has all his players available for playing.

Villarreal has decent team, but at the moment they are far behind the quality that Manchester has. Yes, I know that quality does not always brings you points, but the fact that I am choosing this match for betting is the fact that the best Villarreal strikers and main counter attack threats, Rossi and Nihat are out for this match. I believe that Villareal has no offensive power to threat Manchester United and that they will not hold to keep their net untouched.
