Champions League - Steaua Bucharest v Bayern Munich

After one skipping last year in best club football competition, now we have Bayern Munich back among the crème of the football on place where they belong and eager more than ever for proving to the world that they are still among the best teams in the world. Bayern did not spent big money, like many other European clubs and they just brough Borowski to strengthen the midfield. Klinnsman was satisfied with the players that he has and believes that those players are enough for challenging both fronts, European and domestic.

The opening match they will have against Steaua in Bucharest and even if Steaua had full squad to choose from, Bayern would be still a favorite. Steaua, despite failure of winning the league last season, are still best Romanian team, but at the moment, the situation is not very well for them. They have bunch of injured players in the names of: Nicolita, Emeghara, Golanski, Szekely, Plesan, Petre, and captain Mirel Radoi.

Bayern is stronger, both physically and technically and I expect them to control the whole match. Yes, the absence of Ribery is from big importance, but they still have pretty strong line-up, with Zé Roberto, van Bommel and Schweinsteiger controlling the midfield and with two extra strikers upfront, Klose and Toni, Bayern will take this match.
