ATP - Gilles Simon v The Field

Probably odds will extremely go down when Simon will pass next round and which is probable Gasquet will struggle against home playing Crivoi. So I'm picking this now and we will watch how tittle defender French man lately in awesome form will handle this task to defend championship in Romania. Gilles have big chances to grab again this tittle if he will only want to. His form and form of opponents that left in this draw are very good for French man. In spite Simon was playing last weeks only on hard, he achieved such good results there that I'm sure surface change for clay won't be very big problem to him. Third round at Wimbledon and US Open. Indianapolis tittle. Toronto semi-final. He was losing only to top players that were playing one of their best tours in this season and here in Romania I don't see such players so only some unknown player explosion can stop French man from defending his points. Who can stop him here? Gasquet is in poor form and in first match he didn't show good game, much weaker than Simon who played two very stable and destroying his opponents in matches. Simon will eat him if Richard won't get out earlier. Acasuso and Garcia-Lopez look dangerous to me, but they aren't the types of big stability and even if they will play extraordinary well in Romania Gilles with game he presented on hard in last week should pass them also. Rest of players aren't big fishes in ATP lake. Next point on Simon way is Serra, another French man who with a lot of luck passed through Starace, but Simon seems that he want to defend this tittle, and I don't see much opportunities to stop him!
