ATP - Ivan Navarro Pastor v Denis Gremelmayr

Another interesting match and again I see big chances for quite second league but solid Spaniard. In spite that Denis Gremelmayr beat more classy players and he achieved his biggest in this season success on clay surface I will bet against him. He is a strange player that didn't proved in this season that he is able to hold good form for longer time than one week. He noticed few good tours and after them we saw he struggled against very low players. Let's have a look on last weeks performance of German player. After weeks of awful performances, struggling with players like Dabul and Leonardo Mayer suddenly Denis reached semi-finals of Los Angeles tour, where he was able to win with players like Feliciano Lopez or Marat Safin, which looks very incredible when we see his last performances before that tour. After that Denis is reaching mostly 2nd rounds of tours, but we have to admit that he meet much harder opponents like Hanescu, Troicki, Darcis. In first round he beat 2:1 French man Jeremy Chardy. It was fine game, but in my opinion for such result Denis let for too many break situations and his game wasn't as stable as the game of Navarro Pastor were in first round. Pastor achieved something big eliminating Mathieu by 2:1 score in first round. And he earn that well because on field we didn't see any difference like we can notice when we look on ranking. Both poses strong serves but Navarro proved that he uses better this aspect on Romanian courts. Only one break against Mathieu look better to me, and Spaniard is a kind of bitter. He is in form in last weeks. Set won against Gonzalez in US Open. Won challenger in Alphen, and final in Medjugorje. He is convincing me much more than unpredictable German. I predict 2:1 result for Spaniard, becouse in spite he is winning a lot in last days he also like to lose concentration in matches. Most of his games were ending with 2:1 score, so why not?
