WC 2010 Qual. Europe - Russia v Wales
Wales manage to win their first fixture in a very difficult home-game. In that match we have seen that Wales was forced to play with young players, that pulled a narrow victory against Azerbaijan. Their squad is now even more havened as star players Jason Koumas, and Paul Parry will be absent. Wales have major issues regarding there squad and it is still guessing what kind of formation will start.
Russia on the other hand has become a big international competitor in hands of Guus Hiddink. The Russians will aim for nothing butt a victory on home-ground, as they would want continue their positive streak from the last European Championship, and aim for the top-spot in group 4, where biggest opponent Germany already manage to win its first match with a very big margin of goals. Russia’s squad is in shape and welcome back top-striker Pavlyuchenko and Pogrebnyak. Remember that Russia also did not play on Saturday.
Wales will be on a school-trip with young players to try and stop the confident Russians, butt all they will gain from this match is experience and nothing more. Its up to Wales to hold strong in their organisation, otherwise Russia is very likely to perform a massacre.
