ATP - Roger Federer v Andy Murray

Andy Murray played great tennis so far and I think that in the semi finals he played his best match so far in his career. He was all over Nadal and Nadal did not had clue how to match with motivated Murray. For Andy Murray the reaching the semifinal was his best achievement on Grand Slams and now he is in the finals and he is very happy about that. Now in the final he will meet great Roger Federer, the one that desperately needs to win this tournament to save the season at least with one Grand Slam.

Federer main weakness against Nadal was the fact that he had slight fear from him because Nadal is running all the way and catching impossible balls. Murray has also patient style of play and he is great fighter too, but in this match, I think that mental advantage will have Federer and that will be decisive factor for winning the tournament.

Federer has lost last two meeting with Murray and has bad score against him losing 1:2 in mutual meetings. Those losses came on hard surface and Murray should not think that Federer is better, but Federer’s mental strength is huge and now when Nadal is gone, Federer’s confidence will be on very high level. Despite the impression that Murray is playing great so far, playing patient and smart with lot of fighting, I think he is not mature enough to match great Roger in final of Grand Slam.
