The Pirates although having a bad winning record as they have for the last few seasons are worth following when they are winning both on the ML and RL,the Pirates actually have a very strong hitting line up but their pitching has really let them down over the last few seasons,but they have been winning of late and they also have a great record against the Giants winning 9 of the last 10 against them.

Both sides are good on the overs this season whether it has been good for their own sides or not,the Pirates are 74-60 on the overs and the Giants are 67-68 on the overs,The Pirates in their last 5 on the road are 4-1 while the Giants at home are 1-4.
