MLB - LA Dodgers v Arizona

The Dodgers are winning and have now cut the D-Backs lead to a half game and could overtake them if they win this match today,yesterday the Dodgers continuied on their great run and are on the charge,the Dodgers have now scored 5 or more runs in their last 6 games,can they keep that going again today against the Division leading D-Backs,I reckon they can as the D-Backs send Webb to the mound who less than 5 days ago took a pounding from this Dodgers lineup.

The D-Backs were shut out yesterday but are looking for better as they send Webb 19-6 with an era of 3.19 to the mound,The D-Backs behind Webb have lost 2 of his last 3 starts including against this Dodgers side 5 days ago 1-8,Webbs numbers in his last 3 starts are 1-2 with an era of 7.20,Career wise and Webb has fared well against the D-Backs and has career numbers of 10-4 with an era of 2.94.

The Dodgers will counter with Billingsley 13-10 with an era of 3.13,The Dodgers behind Billingsley have won his most recent start but have lost 2 of his last 3 to leave him with numbers of 1-1 with an era of 3.32,Career wise and Billingsley has numbers of 5-4 with an era of 3.74,this season he has faced them 4 times and has been left with numbers of 1-3 with an era of 6.00.

The D-Backs have really dropped off in recent times and are not enjoying playing this series right now either against a Dodgers side who ate them and spat them out last week,today I took the run line to stay under 8 and it did just but I got the impression that the Dodgers imparticular could of hit in more while I also got the impression that the D-Backs could of hit in a few also.

I like this total for a few reasons,the Dodgers have fared well in recent games and their hitters are hitting,the D-Backs were shut out yesterday and normally can bounce back the next day,the overs between these two sides is 4-1 in their last 5 games against one another and neither starter has a great record against eash others side.

Webb has lost his last two starts and has given up 6 earned in either start while Billingsley has lost 4 of his last 6 starts and has gone over Toital wise in 4 of those 6 games also.3 of Webbs last 5 starts against the Dodgers have been 8 or more runs and Billingsley in his last 5 starts against the D-Backs only one has been under 8 runs.

While some might think that the Dodgers could dry up today I tend to disagree right now the Dodgers hitters are going great and they are all making contributions while for the D-Backs they are in serious trouble of losing the Division lead and will want to make amends after yesterdays shutout and i think they will,I think the Dodgers will win but I like the final score to be around 6-3 to the Dodgers...Good Luck.
