WTA - Safina v Serena Williams

Serena Williams is a true champion and she is a huge favorite to win this US Open once again with the home support cheering her all the way.She did an excellent job so far and in the match against Venus she had to come twice from behind to force a tie-break in each set and she also saved a couple of set points for Venus in each set.So this also proves what kind of player she is and that on this favorite tournament you will need an amazing play to beat her.She has a massive first serve,powerful ground strokes.Serena wll of course make plenty of unforced errors as that is a prat of her game but I am sure that she will progress here.

Dinara Safina is maybe a tennis player who has everything to become a new leading force in woman's tennis.She has everything,movement,good serve and excellent shots.For me she is the best all round player on the tour.But she have showed a few times that she doesn't play very good this big matches.Especially in the final in Beijing against Dementieva she had everything to win the title but she manage to make some unforced errors and few double faults and in the end dementieva won that tournament although Safina was a better player here.

I think that this will be a close match but Serena has a much bigger experience and a home support on her side which will be enough for her to win this in three sets.
