NPC Rugby Union NZ - Bay Of Plenty v Otago

The bay of Plenty were embarassed last week by the Lions in a big time loss,this week they have a real chance of getting back on track here against the men from otago who themselves were beaten pretty well by Hawkes Bay.

The bay got touched up well and truly last weekend by the Lions but they have the side to create chances and should be able to get back on boardthis weekend,last week they even though losing were still trying to score points and that will suit them well in this game tonight also,I actually think that the bay could win this one by 13+,they have been pretty good at home and have'nt allowed much there and against this Otago side they could get well beaten if they are not carefull.

For Otago their loss was worse than the Steamers not on the scoreboard but just for themselves,Otago were well out classed against Hawkes Bay and were lucky to not go down by alot more than they did,they still looked strong through the forwards but their backline was not cohesive at all and if they don't fix that against a Steamers side that will run all night long they could go down and it could get embarassig for them.

Otago won this match last season 29-25 at the Mount.

This season the Bay although losing last weekend are the better side and I expect them to show it,the Bay have really shown an ability to run the ball and do it with confidnce,last week they played a side in the Lions who lets face it are head and shoulders above the other sides and it is showinbg,this week i expect the Steamers to bounce straight back and get up for a good win and 13+ is not out of the question at all...Good Luck.
