NRL Rugby - Canberra Raiders v Canterbury Bulldogs

Theres alot to go through in this game really but we'll try and make it short.

The Raiders lost last weekend and have injuries for ever on their team list but if there is one side who you would probaly like to play right now it's the Bulldogs,the raiders were well beaten by the Cowboys last week but now is time to atone for that loss and it all stats for them right from the beginning,the Raiders need to strat well and control the game from start to finsh and although I think at home they can do just that,even with all their injuries,the raiders still have an electric backline and at home can really rack up the points,the Raiders are the best at scoring trys from over 50 meters and the Bulldogs are the worst at allowing those long range trys so this could be a confidence builder for the Raiders for sure.

There is another thing to watch for as there aree alot of things that could happen for the Raiders during the weekend in other matches before they play which could see them move up a place or drop a place to be left with an impossible place to win from in the Finals come week one,those matches are if the Knights win and the Dragons lose so watch out for those results,especially if the Dragons lose.

The Bulldogs have been pretty good over the last two weeks,their defence is still crap but their attack and play has improved and with Utai who was outstanding last week and Idris who in 2 games I think has shown himself well capable of a big career in the NRL have been going along well,they lost their last 2 games against the Broncos and the Eels but their effort was far better but really even thoufgh they have a great recortd against the Raiders I still think they could really get touched up today.

Recent results and the raiders have won only 2 of the last 6 against the Bulldogs and have not beaten them at home since 2003,they did beat them earlier this season by 40 and that was away from hoe so the Raiders could get up this weekend easily.

Another match far from intresting,the Bulldogs could get rid of the wooden spoon in this game but they won't,the Raiders will win and probaly win pretty well also,the Bulldogs are finishing botto for a reason and we should all know by now what that is,if you are going to watch it and want some thing on it then look at the Raiders to cover the 20 points and win and win pretty well,I think the Bulldogs have got some points in them but how many is still yet to be seen,The Raiders can rack them up at home and I really do get the impression that this game could really be a whitewash for the raiders,the raiders have alot of injuries but they still have the makings of a side who could tear another side apart and the Bulldogs are a likely candidate for that,the winning margin spreads finish here at 55+ and I have to say that i like that one but it does look very large but i do like the 19+ at half time as i think the raiders could come out her with a real point to prove and go hammer and tongs for the first 20mins and really score a few points,we'll soon find out anyway...Good Luck.
