NRL Rugby - Parramatta Eels v NZ Warriors
The Eels lost their shot at making the finals by being thumped by the Dragons last week but don't expect the Eels to not play to win tonight,The Eels would love nothing better to end their season by finishing off another sides season and this is such a game for them, the Eels were on a 3 game winning streak before falling to the Dragons last weekend ,this week they will get Keating again in at half back and he has been good and they also match up Williams with Vatuvei which should prove an intriuging contest as both wingers are quick and very big,the Eels have really had a season to forget and will be trying to go out on a happy note this week to round their season off.
The Warriors will know exactly where they stand after the Knights game,a loss for the Knights and a win is imperitive for them a win for the Knights and the Warriors season is over unless they beat the Eels by a thousand but that won't happen and even 20 might be a strecth, but this is it for the warriores really regardless of the result on Fridfay Night, the Warriors will still want to go out and prove they can win on the road but the last game of the season is'nt the best time to look for that result and all in all i think the Warriors do have a fair shot of winning this game regardless but I really don't think they will.
Recent results and the Eels have won 6 of the last 8 aagainst the Warriors and at home have won their last 3 against the Warriors.
You look at these sides on paper and the warriors look the better alround side but their are a few players in this Eels side that will take alot of stopping Hindmarsh has been playing great over the last month and he with mateo are two reasons already to watch out for this Eels side,Forward wise and the Warriors should have the edge but it is their backline that must standup,Jerome Ropati has been awful away almost all season and his dropped balls have cost the warriors alot in games this season,I just get the feeling thatthe warriors cannot take that home form away from home and that their bad road form will resurface again this weekend and I would go with them to get up here and sink the Warriors well and truly...Good Luck.
