NRL Rugby - Sydney Roosters v St George Dragons

I was'nt going to continuie as last week was another message from upstairs that luck has really turned it's back on me,but i'm almost finished for the season and I have enough points to stay on the board and i've decided I will finish out the season and World Cup and besides I don't walk away from things half done even when I think I should,I bounced back personally last night on a large bet and it has given me that lift I needed to finish off what I have started,so lets get on with it.....

The other Friday Night blockbuster here as the 6th placed Dragons look to beat the 4th placed Roosters and for either side this result is big,a win for the Roosters and they stay in 4th place while a loss could see them plumet as low as 6th and a semi against the Sharks is on the cards while for the Dragons a loss here could see them well and truly in trouble as they could wind up facing the Eagles in Week one of the playoffs,so alot to play for for the dragons imparticular.

The Roosters won last week against the Bunnies but it was far from compreshensive and once again they wilted in the second half of that game,their forward have no punch and their backline is looking shaky and predictable,The Roosters with that win last week did however stop a slide they were on and they should be given crdit for that but should they?? The Bunnies were one goal kick away from tieing up that game last week and if Sandow had made that kick I have no doubts the Bunnies would of finished over the top of the Roosters to win that game,I have not been impressed with the Roosters for a long time now and really I see them as going no further than week one of the finals,if they lose this they will face the Sharks in a game in which they will lose and if they win they will likely face thye Broncos in a game in which they wil probaly lose as well,the Roosters will have to play to a far greater level this week to get a result and I doubt they can.The Roosters do get Mini back for tonights game and they also move Soiola back into the centres to try and combat the Dargons dangerous centre pairing.But whether thet will be enough remains to be seen,I don't think it will be.

The Dragons have regained that form that made them so deadly a few weeks ago by beating the Eels,Warriors and Broncos all sides who are either in or just outside the 8,all the sides the Dragons have played in recent weeks have had alot to play for and yet they have been no match for the Dragons,the Dragons really are playing a very confident brand of footy right now and I must say i don't see them having many problems with the Roosters tonight eiither.The Dragons should have Soward back for tonights game which is also a huge boost for them,but time will tell on that one.

Recent results and the Dragons have dominant records over a few teams and the Roosters are one of them,the Dragons have won 6 of the lkast 7 against the Roosters and have beaten them earlier this season in the Anzac match 26-6.

The Roosters looked great earlier in the season but right now they look the worst of all the sides heading into the finals zone,the Roosters forwards have been awful and their backs have'bnt been brilliant either,actually the Roosters for the last 5 weeks have really gone away from what made them so good,they have gone awy for the kick for field position and tackle hard to a style of lets try and go around them,that isd not the Roosters style and if they try that again tonight they could be on the back end of a hiding,regardless I like the SDragons to finish the regualr season with another win and to get away from the dreaded 7th and 8th positions in the finals...Take the Dragons to win at great odds...Good Luck.
