Copa Del Rey - Tenerife v Cordoba

After the first round of Segunda, hosts secured 3 points after winning over Gimnastic by 3:2, while Cordoba lost at home to Hercules by 3:0. Tenerife is usually very strong at home and they proved that in the second half against Nastic when they turned over the result from the first half with a splendid display in the second. Cordoba looked very poor against Hercules. Guests were all over them in the first half and the half time lead could be even bigger. They tried to make things right in the second half, but they weren`t successful and their first real chance was after one hour of play. Hercules played well and they wait for their chance through counterattack to finally himiliate hosts late in the game when they scored the 3rd goal. Cordoba`s defence looked like a swiss cheese and I am not sure they are capable to turn things around only few days later. Tenerife is interested in this cup and they will be highly motivated tonight. If they can repeat performance from the second half against Nastic I am sure they can beat this handicap considering all defensive flaws of Cordoba. Home win for me, most likely by more than one goal! 3-1 in the end will do!
