ATP - Nikolay Davydenko v Gilles Muller

Nikolay Davydenko is struggling with his form a lot recently and he only needed this three straight wins here in US open to get back on thew winning track.He is a machine when it comes to this matches.Davydenko was in a superb form and for a long time he was in the final 4.Without any doubt that he has much better quality than Muller and he should win this match quite easily.He has a good first serve but very slow second serve.He is unbelievable fast and he is maybe the best in the world with hitting the balls in a run.He is a typical baseliner which is very hard to beat when he is in a good form so I presume that Muller will just be one straight win for him after beasting Calleri and Tursunov in last two rounds.

Gilles Muller made a huge surprises against awful Haas and clay court specialist Almagro beating them both in 5 sets.Now he will have the biggest task so far and I think that beside this big success he is a player with limited abilities and that he will not have a chance against Davydenko.He has a good serve but in the field he can't compare with Davydenko and Russian is much more experienced player who will not allowed a comeback or any kind of chance to Muller in this one.

So Davy to go safely trough.
