WTA - Dementieva v Schnyder

Elena Demeniteva is ina a superb form right now.After winning an Olympic games in Beijing she will now have an excellent chance to go trough the final of this tournament as well and cause she will probably play against Jelena Jankovic in the semifinal if she beat Schnyder today.Elena has a bad serve and that is her biggest problem when sh is playing against Big servers and only in that department her play is not world-class.But in the field with her amazing ground strokes and excellent movement maybe the best in the world.She is maybe in the best form along side with Safina in the last few months.Elena has destroyed in form Na Li with 6-4,6-1 who is a much better player than Scnyder right now.So I expect a same level of performances here as well and a comfortable win in two sets.Dementieva leads 9-6 in H2H but the last three matches which two of those were this year Elena was much better and she won it all in two sets.

Patty Schnyder is a solid tennis player who didn't make any significant success for a very long time and this will be maybe her biggest success in recent time.She always looks to be good against low ranked players and somehow always find a way to beat them but when she plays with top class players in 3rd or 4th round on some tournaments she losses very easily in two sets.Generally in her play you can say only that she moves very good and that is ti.everything else is solid and she doesn't have the potential serve good here and to be a danger for Elena.Schnyder has a bad first serve the power of her ground strokes doesn't have that power and it easy to catch them especially for Dementieva so I don't see a single reason for this match to go over.
