ATP - Martin Del Potro v Kei Nishikori

Insane odds if you ask me for on young Japanese win.Del Potro doesn't posses that huge quality that he can on a bad day beat raising tennis star Nishikori.

OK Del Potro won four tournaments in a row but can someone tell me did he player against Nadal,Djokovic,Federer or some othe top player who was in a good form.He won against awful Roddick and Haas and this are only two big names that he played against in this low class tournaments.This are all facts and as well as he is an big talent but that he doesn't deserve this odds.Certainly he has a lot of self confidence and that is driving him trough this round and not a good form as it was a case in recent tournaments.He is not playing here on the same level and he manage to lose a set against out of form Canas,average Bellucci and to squeeze trough against Simon.In that match he made only 10 aces and 73 unforced errors which only proves that he is not playing on a high level.Also a fitness is questionable whether he can still maintain to play such long and exhausting matches.Del Potro has a good serve,he moves excellent and has a terrific forehand but his backhand is not so good.

Nishikori has emerge on the big scene this year when he won hard court tournament in Delray Beach where he has beaten Reynolds,Querrey and in the final Blake.So this huge talent from Japan is playing the best tennis on this surface and generally on fast surfaces.This year he played a three sets against Nadal in Queens where Rafa has admitted that Nishikori will be a huge treat in the future.Only 18 years old is having a lot of trouble with fitness and that it his biggest problem.So far he has done excellent job as he has beaten quite easily Monaco and Karanusic who has retired before in the second set.In the last round he has beaten a world No.4 David Ferrer in an epic five set triller and in that way he made trough this round.Nishikori plays an attacking aggressive tennis and he likes to take control in the match .He has a good serve and booming forehand which have destroy Ferrer.He is also very good on the net.

So if fitness don't let him down Nishikori has a good chance to win this match.
