Turkish Division 2 - Antalyaspor v Antalyaspor
RIZE SHOULD EASILY…
This is my favorite bet today. Rize vs Gungoren. Both teams are in this league as Rize was in Super League last year and Gungoren is new promoted.
Those who are familiar with Turkish football may remember Rize demoted last year but they fought until their last drop of blood remained in their body. That is for sure that Rize wants to qualify to Super League. Their president made nine good transfers and reinforced the squad in order not to see any nightmare. “We were not very good in prep matches but the league has much different atmosphere and we are very well prepared for our first match at home all players are fully motivated” said Metin Diyadin the coach of Rize. I want to mention about one transfer of Rize. Okan their old striker turned back home who was in Genclerbirligi. I trust this player as he was very successful while he was playing for Rize. Additional to him there is a very strong striker Sadi who was very efficient in prep matches is in his top form. Today it looks like the only challenge for home team is 2 injuries Ali Sakal and Ilhan Ummak. A very strange note: A Laz friend of mine who lives in Rize told me it rains a lot today and the pitch will be watery. Hmm … I think this is an advantage for home team as they are used to play in such ground like this and it is a disadvantage for visitors as they will get shock. It is also a fact that Rize had one of the worst pitches in Super League last year.
Gungoren made transfers too. They brought Firat from Eyup, Kemal from Diski, Ibrahim from Tepecik, Fatih from Kutahya, Ahmet from Mersin, Baykal and Ugur from G.Antep. But their squad still can not be compared to Rize. Their players are not experienced enough to thread their rival. Also the club has serious financial problems. Guess which team I will support in this match. Good luck.
