Premiership - Arsenal v Newcastle
The reds lost to Fulham last weekend at Craven Cottage in a game where they really failed to perform. They created very little which is really not like them at all. But for me, the main reason for this and it really isn't rocket science, Fabregas. He's the main man for the Gunners. All of the play will usually go through him and he helps to create most of the chances for the Gunners. He played in Mid-week against Twente and looked good and with him the Gunners really do tick and make things happen. I admit, defensivly they are perhaps a little bit unstable, but i feel they will create alot of chances as usuall against this Newcastle side.
Well people might look at Newcastles recent performances at Old Trafford and even their win against Bolton and think that this is a strange bet. But the reality is this Newcastle side really has had it's fair share of luck to get the results from those games. I mean, there were alot of times when Given has had to save them against the Red Devils. Although the credit must go to them as you certainly need your luck at Old Trafford. But against Bolton last weekend, again, Shay Given has come to the rescue and saved a Nolan Pen and also Bolton have really missed alot of chances in that game and deserved a point. Add to this that Martins, Duff will both be missing for this game and both have played their parts in the first three games. Also, throw into the mixer that Newcastle had to come through 120 minutes to beat Coventry in the cup and i think the edge well and truely lies with the Gunners.
The handicap is to low imo. It should at least be sitting at -1.25 if not -1.5 IMO so this is some good value, Good Luck!
