Premiership - Aston Villa v Liverpool
Villa have had some good times this week with them progressing in Europe with their draw this morning, but their start to the Premiership which looked great after their first matc took a hammering last weekend against Stoke City and with that in mind and the goal totals in their matches to date this season we should look at that option on this game.
I don't have team lists as it is to early in the week for me to get them but this bet is based more on how Villa are playing rather than on who is playing, some faggot from England you know who you are and I know you will read this said once"To not listen to me because i am geussing"That would be right on this bet as well as all bets placed as i don't know anyone who is'nt geussing but unlike that little un I have no fear in backing bets I like and this is much the same.
The Villians have stred this season with some good play but some very bad defence and when you watch their games it is hard to see it comming at all,in their first game they won 4-2 against Man City but the bulk of those goals did'nt happen untill the last quarter of the match, last week against Stoke the villians went down 3-2 but at halftime in that match it looked a very dour affair,I took over 4 goals in that game and with 30mins left I gave up on it and went to bed and to my amasement when i woke up the next morning i heard the final score of 3-2 ,this season the Villians have a very good side and they are creating chances,if there is one player in this side I truly have alot of time for it's Jhon Carew,I have liked him since his Valencia days and when you watch him play he really not only puts himself in psition to score goals but also has a great taklet of attracting defenders which leaves others on his side open for the ball,he is great in theair and is not greedy and does lay off shots he could take to give someone else a better option and I like that about him.The one thing I don't like about the Villians though is that they create chances but when they open up in attack they also open up in defence and are conceeding a few for a side that used to be so graet in defence especially and with that in mind enter Liverpool.
Liverpool have won their first two games for the new season against M'Boro and Sunderland but neither game has been that great to watch,Liverpool do have some good player though and even without Gerrad are a chance of scoring goals with the likes of Torres,Kyurt and Babel and regardless are pretty strong through the midfield anyway regardless of who fronts for them.
Recent results and the Villians don't like playing Liverpool and at home even more so,the Villians have not beaten Liverpool at home in their last 8 attempts and have only gained 3 points from those clashes, they seem to have a sequence going when they play a dour match followed by a great game,if that sequence is to continuie then this match will be low scoring and not much will be in it and it willl either end in a draw or a narrow win to Liverpool, but this time around I diasagree with what those past results read,Villa are playing a good brand of footy right now and Liverpool without Gerrad will increase Villas confidence on getting an unlikely win,I still think that Liverppool wil win but i also think that the Villians have a good style of play going and won't be over shadowed in this match at all.
I know both sides have just finished playing mid week games but i like these odds regardless,Villa look pretty open at the back and although Liverpool have conceed only 1 goal on the season to date I still think that with the way the Villians are playing that they can get at least 1 goal against themand Liverpool should be able to get the other 2 if it's not the other way around..have a look at over 2.5 goals in this one...Good Luck.
