Blue Square Premier - Burton v Lewes

I suppose it could be quite easy to jump on the 'oppose' Lewes bandwagon this season, but lets be realistic they aren't going to be beaten every week. Therefore is about 'laying' them when the price looks good enough. I ignored then on bank holiday monday and it turned out to be the right decision as they earnt there 2nd point of the season with a 0-0 draw at home to Ebbsfleet, but im not ignoring them this saturday.

Burton are one of these sides that you wonder whether they will ever get into the football league, for a few years now they have been there or there abouts but seems to fail when it really matters. Ive always felt one of Burtons biggest problems is not being potent enough infront of goal. This season though they have scored 10 in 5 matches although this more attacking style might be making them more vunerable at the back 9 conceded already. There slow starts in matches is a bit of a worry at the moment but im confident they will have enough to see off Lewes here.

Even at this early stage in the season im struggling to say new things about Lewes, Its been announced enough already, Sacked manager, released players, new players not up to Premier standard Etc. Its all true mind.

Its important we dont just oppose Lewes for the sake of it too early in the season, Personally im not convinced they should be opposed at home at odds on just yet, but away from home over 1.50 looks tasty to me. We have that here and it looks pretty good for what on paper should be a comfortable home win.
