NRL Rugby - St George Dragons v Parramatta Eels

The Eels have lost Finch and although many think that is a big loss I have my doubts and with the players the Eels have left in their ranks I still think they are a ood chance here to keep this game very close.

The Dragons won last week but whether that was a great performance or a very average performance from their oppostition remains to be seen,I thought the Dragons defence was pretty solid but overall their game plan was flawed and against a side with a better gameplan that they could of lost,the Dragons won the game and full credit to them but they could of easily lost that game also if not for the Brilaince of Gasnier and Cooper once again,the Dragons sit on 28 points and sit in 7th a win here is a must for them to saty in contention for the 8,I do think they can win but I don't think it will be by much.

Tye Eels continuie to win and keep themselves alive for the Finals after a season to forget,last week it was the Bulldogs to lose to them in what was not a good match from the Eels and they to could of been beaten by a better side,they have though won their 4 of their last 5 and are still alive so we should pay them some respect,they also have alot of scoring talent in their ranks and can score points but whether they can score more than the Dragons this week remains to be seen,I am still critical of their forward power imparticular and unless they all stand up they will find the going toughagainst a Dragons side who have played pretty well really.

Recent results and the Dragons have won only 3 of the last 4 against the Eels and at home the Dragons have won the last 3 against the Eels but all in close games,the Dragons have won at home against the Eels ibn their last 3 games by 8,7 and 3.

The Dragons are in the better form but these matches are usually very tight and with the amount of talent on show by either side it should be close again this weekend,the Dragons are playing the better footy but the Eels can step up to the mark if they are on form in this game,however i think the Eewls don't derserve a place in the 8 while the Dragons have been playing at a god consistent level for a while now and i like them to keep winning today...Take the Dragons by 12 points or less...Good Luck.
