NRL Rugby - Cowboys v Canberra Raiders

READERS NOTE:If you can get a total bet on this game by kickoff then take it,this game will be packed full of points and over 50 is a must,the totals aren't out yet but I will be on it by the time this kicks off and you should get on it also.

The Cowboys have two remaining round to shake off the wooden spoon but it won't be easy while for the Raiders the equation is simple,keep winning,very interesting game in prospect here.

The Cowboys were being beaten badly last week against the Knights before almost pulling off an unbelievable comeback as they clawed back to within 2 points of the Knights after being down by more than 20 at the break but the Knight were able to kick away when it matters and got the spoils,the Cowboys are a hard team to trust,they have lost their last two games and the first of those against the Titans they were expected to win but they lost they then were out classed in the first half last week before Turing up in the second,they are hard to read as one minute they look great but simple lapses and they fall well short of the mark,this game is not an easy one for them either as the Cowboys will have to be able to score with the Raiders and that is easier said than done,the Cowboys in their last two have leaked 64 points and that is a lot,especially when their opposition this week have scored 152 points in their last 3 games.

The Raiders looked gone at half time last week against the Bunnies but once again showed unbelievable scoring potential to take back the 13 point gap in Les than 10 mins of the second half and then ran away with the game to win by 15,the raiders looked very shaky early in that game as well but once they kicked into gear they were pretty much unstoppable once again and that should see them win again this weekend.

Recent results and the Raiders have won only 2 of the last 5 against the Cowboys and in Townsville they have won only 1 of their last 3 played there.

The Cowboys might be looking to avoid the spoon but that won't be enough tomrealy test this raiders side who are manufacturing trays that are so great to watch you just want to see them keep on winning and the way they are doing it is very attractive,the Cowboys meanwhile are either great or average and the last few weeks have been pretty average,I think the raiders with it all to play for will step up against this week and win this one by a few..take the Raiders - 2.5 or 4.5 and look for a 14 point win to the away side to set up an interesting last round clash for both the Bulldogs and Cpwboys to see who ends the season with the Wooden Spoon...Good Luck.
