NRL Rugby - Newcastle Knights v Melbourne Storm

The Knights have made the 8 but have now lost their captain for the season,i'll just say that Danny Buderus has been an outstanding player for the Knights ,Australia and NSW and what an unfortunate way for him to end a great career in the NRL,Danny Buderus truly a class player that derserves respect,the Rhinos really are getting a good player next year despite his age.However with his loss the Knights now face the hardest task of all in facing off in their final 2 rounds against the Storm this week and the Broncos next week,I doubt they will make the 8 now.

This is it really it's all or nothing for the Knights this week a win and they should be able to make the 8 a loss which is likely would leave them the hard task of heading to Suncorp next weekend and facing off against the Broncos,this week at home is teir best chance to get a win but they will need to play a flawless game really and without Buderus the task becomes much harder.

The Storm just keep getting better and although it was only the Panthers they beat last weekend their effort in attack and defence has really lifted in recent weeks and they look primed again for another crack at the Title now,their side is stacked full of talent and not many sides can deal with it and I doubt the Knights will be able to stop the Storm this week either.

Recent results and the Storm have won 6 of the last 7 including the last 2 at Energy Australia both wins have been close as the Storm have won by 10 and 8 their last two time here.

The Knights will use emotio to try and spur their side on tonight,they have a farewell for Buderus as well as Lergends day that sees all the great old Knights players show up for the last home match of the season so emotion will be riding high and the Knight should liuft from that,but this is the Storm who they are playing and the Storm themselves know a win here will see them pretty much assured of the Minor premiership and I doubt they will slip up,the Storm have been playing at a great level in recent weeks and althouh the Knight themselves have really been playing well it will take the Knights to be perfect and the Storm to be off their game for the Knights to get a surprise win,i rate the Loss of Buderus as being to big for the Knights to overcome but don't be surprised if the Knights are right in this game right to the end...take the Storm by 12 or less...Good Luck.
