NRL Rugby - Wests Tigers v Cronulla Sharks

This is another match where traditionally one side has ruled the roost over the other and I think it could happen again tonight also.

The Tigers are once again ending their season badly and have lost their last 3 and have gone from finals contender to nothing more than a pretender,the Tigers have lost badly to the Sea Eagles and Eels two sides they have awful records against,they have scored only 28 points while considering 88 in those two games,but they do have the style of game to play for a win her tonight,the Tigers keep putting themselves into position to get the job done but seem to keep finding new ways to blow it,this week they have moved a few players around to bolster their forward pack and I like the look of what Sheens has done,this game is also being played at Leichhardt Oval the Home of the Mighty Balmain Tigers half of the Wests Tigers franchise and they are very hard to beat there.

The Sharks have had a bad week with Birds troubles and although they are still a very good side they will not be happy at the way the week has gone for them,while Bird is not the greatest player running around he does with Gallen provide the Sharks with a lot of aggression and that will be missed,the Sharks can lay without him but this week has not been god for him or the club as a whole and I don't know how well the Sharks will come through that,we'll find out on Friday Night I guess.

Recent results and the Tigers have won the last 9 against the Sharks and have not lost a home game to the Sharks since 2003.

The Tigers normally have no problems scoring points and I don't think they will struggle to do that on Friday night either,the Tigers have moved Halatau back into the pack and start Laurie in the second row,they also put Morris back to halfback and have Farah playing at his favoured Hooker I think that improves them out of sight,this really is the Tigers last chance to make the 8 aloos here and it really is season 2008 over,so with it all on the line expect a big performance from the Tiger tonight..Good Luck.
