MLB - Detroit Tigers v Cleveland Indians

I need something to watch while I write my NRL Previews for the weekend and although I like a fre MLB bets for today I like this one alot and at these odds hopefully I can make up for that stupid Total bet I placed on the D-Backs/Padres game 2 days ago.

Although there are a few diffrent series happening right now that are far bigger than this one such as the Mets/Phillies and Red Sox/Yankees I can't ignore these odds on the Indians in this match up today and hence we'll look at this game for some enjoyment and profit.

The Indians sit 11 and a half games behind the Central Division leading White Sox but they are only two games behind the Twins who themselves are having a tough time against a Mariners side that has suddenley found that winning feeling again,if the Tribe are to keep any momentum going today then they need to win the third game of this series and keep winning,they have won their last 9 games and are looking to not only sweep the Tigers today but also to add to that win tally and keep rolling to 10 Straight wins.

The Tribe look to keep the good times rolling today behind Carmona 6-5 with an era of 4.40,The Tribe behind Carmona have won 2 of his last 3 starts against the Rangers and Orioles and has numbers in those 3 games of 1-1 with an era of 4.19,the Tribe behind Carmona have won 3 of his last 5 starts but away from Cleveland and the Tribe behind Carmona have won only 1 of his last 3 road starts that win being his most recent road start against the Rangers,Career wise and Carmona is 5-2 against the Tigers and this season has faced them twice to leave him with numbers of 2-0 with an era of 2.08 he has thrown 13 innings for 3 earned on 12 hits.

The Tigers look for something special to help stop the losing streak at 3 by sending Verlander 10-13 with an era of 4.42,The Tigers behind Verlander have won his 2 most recent starts against the Royals and Orioles and has numbers in his 3 most recent starts of 2-1 with an era of 3.18,Verlander is throwing alot better than he was only a month ago as Verlander was on a 4 game losing streak before winning his last two starts,However against the Tribe Verlander career wise is 4-8 with an era of 6.51,this season and Verlander has faced the Tribe 4 times and has numbers of 1-3 with an era of 5.84 and has thrown 24 innings of work for 16 earned on 19 hits as well as walking 12.

Meaningless Shit..The Tribe are 5-5 in their last 10 against the Tigers but have won the last 3 against them,The Tigers are 25-28 against American leage opposittion on the season and are 35-52 against American League Rught handed starters,The Tribe are 4-0 in their last 4 away against American League opposittion.

While Carmona has been avergae of late and Verlander has won his last two starts I can't get away from not trusting Verlander,he has been very average this season and has never had much luck against the Indians imparticular,while the Tigers have a strong hitting line up the Indians are in the better form both with their bats and their bullpen and with the way the Tribe are manufacturing runs I can't go past taking them at massive odds to get another win today and keep their slim playoff hopes alive...Take the Tribe...Good Luck.
