Premiership - Portsmouth v Manchester United

Well, I'm surprised that no one has put a tip up for this game, as I reckon this is where United will kick start their season. They were very ordinary last week against a spirited Newcastle side that also performed well this weekend against Bolton. Pompey were dreadful against a decent Chelsea side that simply outclassed them. Tevez is back for the champions tonight, and this is the season he out performs Ronaldo in my book. He is a little genius at times, and after his family bereavement he will be raring to get into this seasons football. Kranjcar is a doubt for the hosts, and he would have made a big difference tonight as he would have hopefully given the south coast side something to think about in midfield.

Even though United were average this week I can see them outclassing Portsmouth tonight and even though the stats are not favourable for United I think tonight's match is at a different stage of the season to all other games played and after 2 poor performances by both teams last week, i'll happily put my money on the champions to bounce back to form better and quicker than the FA cup winners.
