Ryman Premier - Staines Town v Harrow Borough

This looks like another match they bookies have been a bit generous with the odds this isnt a 1.57 shot in my book.

Staines missed out last season in the play offs, A good FA Cup run left them with a fixture pile up and im sure the squad was pretty exhausted as the season reached it climax, They are faniced for another good promotion push this season and with Chelmsford and Wimbledon out of the way there is no reason why they shouldnt be involved again. 6 points for the opening 3 matches is steady progress, A win over Billericay (1-0) defeat at Horsham (2-1) although they dominated for long periods and last time out an impressive 2-1 victory over a good Tonbridge side away see them come into this bank holiday fixture knowing that a victory will mean the start to the season has been a success. Leroy Griffiths has recently signed and should prove to be a good signing at this level.

Harrow Boro could be in for a long tough season, just 1 point on the board from the opening 3 matches isnt a good start although to be fair to them 2 of them 3 matches were against 2 of the leagues better sides Dover (4-0) and Carshalton (5-1) but nevertheless they were still thumping defeats. Staines are of a similar standing to Dover and Carshalton and im sure come the end of the season there wont bo much seperating them 3 sides.

With that in mind it looks like being a comfortably home win today and at 1.57 should give us a very nice run for our money.
